In a hillside meadow decorated with prayer flags, this stupa stands 30 meters high. Also called the Peace Stupa of Zalaszántó, it was built in the early 1990s by Bop Jon, a Buddhist monk from South Korea. It was inaugurated by the 14th Dalai Lama Tenzin Gyaco in 1993, and is the biggest structure of its kind in Europe.
